First Look @ AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY



When I first saw the image, it felt like one of those bootlegged fan-made images flooding the internets ever since the3 film was announced ... than I saw the former Director of Visual Development at Marvel Studios post this, and I gawked, and perhaps puked a lil'bit into my own mouth.



The image was unveiled at Shanghai Expo by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige (video posted at bottom of this blogpost, cheers.), credited as "first official concept art for Avengers: Doomsday". Let's break it down and have a closer look, shall we? There are no Story Spoilers ahead, and I have zero intentions to speculate, and not want to spoil my own watch, as far as public reveals offer - Thanks for understanding :)

The names/cast matches the "chair watch" announcements a year ago (reposted below, of course), and not doubt any further appearances from other cast(s) will be under "controlled" until it's time to official reveal, so I don't want to stress myself too much LOL



PREMISE: Fourteen months after the events of Thunderbolts*, groups of heroes from three different universes—the Avengers, Wakandans, and New Avengers from Earth-616; the Fantastic Four from Earth-828; and the "original" X-Men from a separate universe—converge to face the existential threat of Doctor Doom.
