Registration of Interest for Anime Festival Asia (AFA SG) 2022
Organizers of the annual AFA has since opened up an online form titled "Registration of Interest for Anime Festival Asia (AFA SG) 2022", in anticipation of a possible return of a physical ANIME FESTIVAL ASIA in "2022"!
A trio of options are listed as well:
- Exhibitor ご出展 出展商
- Sponsor ご協賛 赞助商
- Creators Hub クリエイター 创作者
And while no specific "dates" have been mentioned, the form states the following: "Please fill up this form so that one of our sales team can get back to you with more information on how you can participate in the event. Please note that submission of this form DOES NOT confirm your entrance of the event. A member of the sales team will contact you with regards to the submission of this form."
This comes after a couple of years where the event went online and was put on hiatus (due to COVID-19 concerns), but was opened up to a "satellite" event held at Kallang Wave Mall not too long ago, and especially with the opening up of Singapore's restrictions for the pandemic, looks like things are rolling back into a nw incarnation of our favourite events, IMHO.
Here's a archival record with links to my blog-coverage of AFA thru the years, cheers. This event has been a huge part of my geek-life for many years, and I've even boothed in one year! But what can I offer now if I decide to booth again (Creators Hub) THIS YEAR? Or maybe it would be better served if I went as an attendee instead... :)
