#AFAONLINE2020: The Status of C3AFA Singapore 2020
SOZO Pte Ltd (the organiser of (AFA) Anime Festival Asia), has announced the cancellation of C3AFA Singapore 2020 physical event this year. In place we will have the chance to enjoy the ONLINE EDITION of this annual event here in Singapore, scheduled for December 5th and 6th 2020.
#AFAONLINE2020 will be a non-ticketed online event via YouTube and AFASTATION.COM; with a mention that registration may be required for access.
"AFA Station" was first introduced in early September this year as a stand alone event, and no doubt served as a "primer" to the main event in the coming December, IMHO.
Stay updated to their socials Instagram / Twitter / Facebook for more details to be announced by the organisers at a later date.
(PARTIAL) PRESS: "The event will be featuring exclusive contents from invited guests and merchandise from partner brands. While the physical experience of Anime Festival Asia as we have all come to know may not be fully replicated, we hope that the spirit of the event will live on online. We hope many in the region will also tune in to this event online.
We look forward to meeting all our customers and stakeholders online instead this year, and hope to see continued support from everyone, as we all stand in solidarity towards a brighter future together.” said Shawn Chin, the event’s Festival Director and Managing Director of SOZO Pte Ltd."

I remember being stuck in traffic on a rainy-ass day last year, as I made my way to Suntec City for C3AFA 2019, but eventually gave up and alighted before reaching the intended destination, as I would have missed the allotted "check in time". I remembered having KFC at Far East Plaza for a early dinner, and being stuck in Orchard Road until the sky got dark and my head spinning, as traffic continued to crawl, and the two buses I waited for continued to be squeezed with people.
And then this year you say "ONLINE"? I'm all for it! LOL
