AFA X - Anime Festival Asia 2010 @Suntec City Convention Hall 401-402 (November 13-14)

Truthfully, the only excitable aspect about the upcoming Anime Festival Asia in November (13-14) ~currently touted as "AFA X"~ is that power all-girl pop-band SCANDAL [featured HERE] will be performing "live" for I Love Anisong ~ a concert-based activity of AFA, which sees a much larger presence this year, no doubt bolstered by the runaway success of last year's concert turnout.

The rest of the performers line-up include JAM Project, angela, May'n and Ichirou "Aniki" Mizuki. As well, Milky Holmes makes their first appearance outside of Japan, while "celebrity cosplayer" Kaname and blogger Danny Choo both return for a 2nd year.

Last year there was the kawaii Moe Moe Kyun Maid Cafe - this year? French maid uniforms will be traded for school girl uniforms instead, for a "School Days" theme! (Otakus islandwide shares a moment of nose-bleeding bliss). Not to be left out of the fun, "Atelier Royale" offers up "charming butlers", to balance the yin-yang status quo.

What is glaringly missing from the event (thus far via the website) are the presence of toys / merchandize / exclusives for AFA (beyond t-shirts and stationary, please). Perhaps they will be revealed at a later date? Or perhaps the days of toys on display at AFA 2008 are but a faded memory?

- Festival Only = SGD$8 per day
- Festival + Stage = SGD$15 per day (NO I Love Anisong access)
- Concert Passes range from SGD$55 (1 Day Standing) to between SGD$118 (1 Day VIP) to SGD$198 (2 Day VIP)
