what is sector 7?
codename: Sector 7 is the military department/authority charged with monitoring the impending any possible alien invasion by giant robots ... SectorSeven.Org is also the promotional website for the upcoming Transformers movie, first "discovered" in the first-ever Transformer teaser, during the audio-playback scene (listed on top of screen) [via] which currently serves as an alternate "real life" interactive platform between the movie and our "real time" at present.
armed with a new login password [currently - FWIFFO / via] i decided to pop by the website today (my first visit) to have a lil snoop around to see what's all the quasi-fuss is about and this is what i found:
*more info and images HERE after the jump*
Grimlock (dino-bot) wrecks havoc at a construction site (image below has been rotated vertical for clearer viewing - original image is horizontal)
these screengrab stills are from one of a trio of video-clips found on the website (viewable by clicking on the red hard-drive icon on top-left of screen once you've logged on), which features "security camera / home-video footage" of Grimlock (above) and Kickback (insect-bot), both of whom have been making the rounds on Trans-sites as single screengrab stills - and Reflector, the transforming-video camera (last seen as a toy)
the insect-bot Kickback kicks into live and reveals his true robot-self:
in the midst of a birthday home-video recording, Reflector is awaken and transforms into his Decepticon-mode:
the website interface is designed to mimic a Sector-Seven operative's "actual" computer worktop/workscreen with most icons clickable to reveal varied lil titbits, including Surveillance Array-cameras (click middle-top of screen icons) - which also shows a cheeky (XXX accident-free days - which im sure will change for the drastic when the movie launches and when Megatron escapes)
clicking on the icons at base of screen reveals more video-footage (of a badly-acted interrogation, im afraid) a email folder which provides more "clues" to what Sector Seven is up to (tres cool) and even "Ultra Secret" Building Schematics (which unfortunately levels 6&7 are restricted - guess where Megatron/"Megaman" is being kept, eh?)
hopefully as the days draw closer to the movies' launch (4th July), folks'll have had "hacked" into the system and reveal more areas and images eh? *cyber-coolness*
