personally, i reckon the casting is hit-n-miss - with an awkward Emile Hirsch leading the group (the "wannabe-edgy"-feel doesn't vibe with me at all), missed-matched with the awesome Christina Ricci, and even absurb with Matthew Fox as older-bro Racer-X. John Goodman and Susan Sarandon seems a decent match, heck even Kick Gurry as Sparkie seems inspired .... ah but the rumor of Korean pop-sensation Rain being a part of the cast? either as one of the random blink-and-you'll-miss-me "other Racers" or a brand new arch enemy ... hell just hope he's not "Spritle", innit? *heh* ... as inspired as the casting was for The Matrix, im not completely sure about the Wachowski Brothers' choices this time around tho ... i hope they prove us naysayers wrong tho ... :p
