wall•e : trailers and toys
i feel pretty bad for the way i've been treating WALL•E ...
... ya see, i started prepping this post 3 weeks ago but never could finish it (until now, gripped by guilt), becoz WALL•E wasn't a "priority-post" for me then, and now i feel like one of them cads who'd abandoned him on Planet Earth and left him alone to fend for himself for 700-years (*sobs*) ... and letting a post/toy/character languishing on perpetual-standby isn't the nicest thing to do (most times i just junk them buggers after some time :p) ... but no, i can't stand it anymore ... he is too gosh-darn robo-cute to be 'ignored' ... so i now give WALL•E his deserved time in the blog-spotlight, with toy-pics (from the UK Toyfair) and youtubed teaser-clips viewable HERE :)
[Hi-Res QT here / HD-version here]
"What if mankind had to leave Earth, and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off? WALL•E, a robot, spends every day doing what he was made for. But soon, he will discover what he was meant for.
WALL•E is a robot, who like all of us, is searching for a connection in the universe. His connection with EVE, a sleek female probe-droid from outer space, leads him on a series of adventures and a comic journey across the galaxy, where he'll meet lots of remarkable characters as he fulfills his destiny. From Academy Award®-winning writer-director, Andrew Stanton ("Finding Nemo"), Disney•Pixar's WALL•E is the story of one robot's comic adventures as he chases his dream across the galaxy." [read wiki]

i may not have bought a clown-fish, nor ants, nor fluffy monsters ... but i did get myself a Buzz Lightyear way back when, and i don't mind a BNL Truckset tho ... also depends on how playable WALL•E the toy is lah ... WALL•E (the movie) launches June 27, 2008. i am definitely looking forward to it :)
