medicom bearbricks for april/may 2008

besides the BATMAN & JOKER BE@RBRICKS [blogged] this month's selection fro Medicom Toy is actually pretty manageable (ie: not too many), starting with [below-left] the 400% STUSSY DESTINY BE@RBRICK is tagged for a May 3rd-drop @ ¥8,190 (via / US$78 / SGD$107) featuring multiple "Skullacons" in a variety of colors.

[above-right] both 100% and 400% QUEEN BE@RBRICK has a SRP of ¥6,090 (via / US$58 / SGD$79) with an August-drop date - featuring glossy-black body with silver Queen Crest (pretty cool this) and can be pre-ordered here (period btwn April 24th to May 23rd / eligible for peeps in Japan only)

unlike the rest of the Eastern pop-culture world, i am unfamiliar with Naruto. yes, judge me if you must, but alas i cannot contribute anything more than just the June-drop date for this 100% NARUTO BE@RBRICK [via] but i can't tell you how much it'll cost becoz none was specified! click here for promotion details (in Japanese).

and where have we seen this purdy-boy before? [peep] - with an August-drop schedule, you can pre-order the 100% TOKIDOKI BE@RBRICK here for ¥1,050 (via / US$10 / SGD$14).
Hey besides being uber excited because my tokidoki bearbrick should be here monday. I'm just wondering how tall is a 400% bearbrick versus a 100%? Kind of a newb question but i'm not sure. Thanks so much
ReplyDelete100% is about 7cm tall, while 400% is approx 28cm ...am not too sure about 1000% but it's effin huge! LOL
ReplyDeleteno worries about being a noob/newb - i reckon when tis when collecting's one of the most exciting period, when everything looks fresh and fun, while no jadedness has set in yet LOL
have fun Dewey!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteLike you, I'm a Be@arbrick addict and have posted about my love for them on my blog. I found out today that my articles and photos were ripped off by a spammer at this address: http://designertoys.blogscene.net
Your entire posts have also been ripped off. I just wanted you to know. I've contacted the author and his host about this.
cheers for the headsup, Carrie!
ReplyDeletein fact i've known about them for a while but have not responded to my query, which i doubt they will...
FYI - Im sure by now you know they base their content off our RSS-feeds, which i've found out when i amended my feeds from FULL to SHORT - which frankly affects my regular readers more, regrettably so tho ... so now the parasites have links back to me instead :p
take care, Carrie! lemme know when things turn differently, yeh?
