tamashi nation batman @ tokyo toy show 2008

Now, I do not think I'm known to be an "eloquent" man (I'd like to think I am but I know I'm delusional) - so when I set my humble-peepers on this TAMASHI NATION's THE DARK KNIGHT figure currently on display this weekend at the International Tokyo Toy Show 2008 [tagged] - all I can think of to share with you folks is: I shat meself - twice. (thank teh CyberGawds I don't write for a living, innit? heh).

Courtesy of TRE-reader Francesco Fondi - aka Boss of otaku culture and hobby publisher @ www.hobbymedia.it (you rawk, Fra!) we have here a couple of overview pics (and info) of the combi-Batman and Batpod set designed for Bandai's "Movie Realization" figure line by legendary mangaka Masakazu Katsura (VIDEO GIRL AI) - based on the costume used in The Dark Knight movie - and tis hella eye-poppin' toy-candy, it is!


Currently no further product details as yet - besides the September drop-date and a 8,925YEN price-tag (US$81 / SGD$113) and even with this price-point, this hyper-detailed Batman may yet disappear off the shelves pretty darn quick, especially with the movie coming out in just about a month's time (July 21st).
