Mr. Belding @ G1988: LA's IDIOT BOX art show (Apr 2)
PRESS: Join G1988: LA for the gallery's 5 year Anniversary show, "IDIOT BOX," where 100 artists will take aim at telelvision's guiltiest pleasures. Opening Thursday night, April 2nd, with a reception from 7-11 PM, this show is hosted by one of TV's most beloved actors, Saved By The Bell's Dennis "Mr. Belding" Haskins, and promises to be one of the most memorable shows of 2009.
The exhibit will consist of original paintings, prints and scultpures paying tribute to small-screen gems like "Diff'rent Strokes," "Jem & The Holograms," "Magnum, P.I.," "Small Wonder," "LOST," "Gumby," and many more. Some amazing artists will be celebrating with 1988 in "Idiot Box," including Ewelina Ferruso, Alex Pardee, Matt Dangler, Netherland, Jude Buffum, Roland Tamayo, Chris Lee, Scott Campbell, Israel Sanchez, Johnny Bergeron, Lesley Reppeteaux, and many others.
