TRE-Exclusive Reveal of TW85: Teen Wolf in 1/6 by The Tarantulas x Morpheus
UPDATED 07.06.09: Making of Project TW85 and an interview with The Tarantulas & Morpheus posted HERE!
Teen Wolf was the title of a 1985 American feature film starring Michael J. Fox as a high school student who found himself transforming into a werewolf. Like the guy needed more personal issues other than girls, grades and zits, they had to give him fangs and fur! Decades later, the film had garnered an underground following and howled it's way to secure a place in classic pop culture history ... and in the year 2009, we may yet see an American Teen Wolf ... in London? TOYSREVIL is privileged to have the exclusive reveal and first look online at the 1/6th-scaled TEEN WOLF action figure!
A collaboration between Character Design Consultancy; The Tarantulas (idea & direction by Chris) and UK-based Creative Form Developers Morpheus (sculpt & execution / with main collaborator Ali) - codename: TW85 is a 1/1 Edition articulated action figure with the works - including hair/fur and fully-sculpted face! CLICK THRU to have a closer-look at the lycanthropic-basketball-player and stay tuned for TRE's interview with the creators for a look behind-the-scenes of the making of TW85 :)
FYI: TW85 will make his first "public appearance" today at Size? footwear store in Carnaby Street London - where you'll be able to see it up close and personal! (TRE envies you if you could!). *Snap & Send pics!*
