No Future Companion by KAWS x Hajime Sorayama x Medicom Toy (June 27)

This visage of metallic-awesomeness that which is dubbed NO FUTURE COMPANION sees the collaboration between KAWS and Japanese illustrator Hajime Sorayama (heck, I knew of Sorayama years before I even heard about KAWS, during my student years!) - leaves me speechless, remembering instead of the sensation I once felt, when I first peeped Philippe Starck's Juicy Salif Lemon Squeezer by Alessi ... a "revolution"? Perhaps more of a "harbringer" of high-end toys to come, IMHO.

HypeBeast-reports: "A manifestation of Hajime Sorayama’s original painting in 2006, the 13″ figure comes to life with a fully-posable robotic metal finish. The No Future Companion, produced by OriginalFake/Medicom Toy, will see a release this Saturday June 27th, with a retail price of $980 USD..."
