Custom Mickey Mouse from Philippines for Mickey Brand Halo @ Times Square, Hong Kong (show date TBC)
TRE's coverage of custom-Mickey Mouse 12" vinyls for Mickey Brand Halo show continues with a series of Mickeys from Philippines! A hook-up via FreshManila led to a showcase of work by Reggie Yuson, Christian Tamundong, WULA, Krayola Eater and WeeWillDoodle, as well as the crew from artist-collective MOVEMENT 69: featuring works from Egg Fiasco, WHOOOP, NEMO, EXLD and TRIP63 = CLICK THRU for more peeks!
Organized by 3-Mix and Disney Asia -The Mickey Brand Halo custom show was to have launched from June 29th and exhibited til August 2nd at Times Square, Hong Kong - but have since yet to be able to confirm the status of the show. Personally I have a sneaking "suspicion" that it will launch along with MINDstyle's Bloc Mickey show on July 9th. Confirmation as soon as I have news :)
Elaine from teamFRESH-adds: "We are good friends with Alex of 3mix and he was the one who sent us the mickeys to be done by local filipino artists. These mickeys will be displayed at time square hong kong as an exhibit with other artist from asia as well :)"
