MONSTER vs TOYS: Taipei Toy Festival 2010 @ Huashan 1914 Creative Park, Taipei, Taiwan (July 8-11)
TTF-2010-PRESS: The 7th Annual Taipei Toy Festival (TTF), the only major designer toy exposition in Asia, will once again take place from July 8th to 11th at HUASHAN 1914 CREATIVE PARK [www, Taipei, Taiwan ~ celebrating the fantastic world of designer toys, products, and collectibles subsequent to previous six successful years.
Themed: “MONSTER vs. TOYS”, 2010 Taipei Toy Festival will host more than 100 specialty vendors and private providers from Japan, Hong Kong, U.S., Taiwan, Canada, France, among others. Many designers have announced the release of their own TTF limited edition vinyl toys during this venue. These highly collectible figurines will only be available during this 4-day event. This is a not-to-miss venue for worldwide toy fans and collectors.

PRESS-CONTINUED: 2010 TTF features two themed posters for this year’s event, one designed by the renowned local artist Push by Push Comic (shown below) and the famed Los Angeles-based artist Amanada Visell (shown above). Their different interpretations on “MONSTER vs. TOYS”, express the versatile aspects in this exceptional toy exposition. Admission tickets of 8 different designs by renowned artists are available for purchased. Collect them all.
TTF Catalogs, Designer Toys, from previous years have become collectibles among collectors for its thorough collection and exquisite photographs and quality printing. 2010 Designer Toys, the third issue, is expected to be another hit.
During the venue, there will be free giveaways for the first 500 visitors each day. The fans also have the chance to win prizes, such as Hong Kong-Taipei roundtrip airline tickets, passes to Hong Kong Disneyland, designer figurines, and a lot more.
2010 TTF also host the first Graphic Novel and Comic Book Fair, exhibiting graphic novels, comics and illustration books by animation artists from major Hollywood studios, as well as from Taiwan, Canada, Japan, France, etc. In addition, designer Ts, clothing lines, accessories and collectible sneakers will also be available on the exhibition floor.

TTF2010-Theme: “MONSTER vs. TOYS”
Once upon a time, there was a small village in a far-away northern land. Farming was their way of life. Filled with barren lands and bitter chills, the life wasn’t easy, Bright and sweet children prayed for toys, which their hard-working parents could not afford.
One day their prayers were answered, but the toys never arrived at their doors. A monster inhabiting the nearby woods gulped down their little wishes. The villagers, skilled farmers as they were, constructed a robot with their farming tools to protect and to safeguard.
The monster was defeated by the robot and crashed into the ground; Copious toys spilled forth from its belly. They were what the sweet children had prayed for. Each child found the very toy he had set his heart on, And gave thanks to heaven for the wishes come true.
They lived happily ever after.
