TK-BAKA-01

ThreeA Toys lines up their next 1/6th-scale release with a brand new Tomorrow King dubbed "BAKA"! Teased here is the "Standard" version of the duo energy-blades welding "slicer", complete with scars and new hair-do, and will be priced at US$120 per (shipping included). Be on the look out for the 3AA-Version (priced at US$150 per / the set includes a giant severed robot head). Pretty darn epic and will no doubt burn a scalding hole in me wallet if I chose to take a dive, dammit! ~ CLICK THRU for more images!

Pre-orders begin September 10th @ 9:00 AM Hong-Kong time at www.bambalandstore.com (Currently 3AA ordering window of 24-hours is as yet determined nor confirmed tho) ... and yes, I know "BAKA" sounds like a Japanese slang-curse as well ... what you might be grunting under your breath if you missed the sale, innit? Heh.

  1. The giant servered robot head is included with the 3AA version (hence the price difference).

  2. So, did it actually release? I was checking every 20 seconds starting at 5:55 pst North America and nothing every showed. Did this TK actually sell out in 20 seconds just between my clicks?

  3. Cheers for the headsup, Malcom :)

Juna: apparently sales time has been pushed forward to 10am! I woke up half-nine and checked Bambalandstore and freaked out too hahahaha

  4. I caught the update on the 3A Production blog at 9:30 (HK time). All I can say is, thank goodness ThreeA only releases products around once a month. Too much stress (and cash drain!). Took a miss on the Action Portable but got the Slicer. Blister packaging is just too much of a tease - you REALLY want to open it, but it's painful to damage the art of the product.
