AW177 x Kevin Gosselin Collabo Custom Mad*L Series for New York Comic-Con 2010 (@ Tenacious Toys Booth 2878)
Artist AW177 has collaborated with Kevin Gosselin to produce a series of 3 custom-MADL for the coming New York Comic Con. The project was to recreate the ancient terra cotta warrior form onto a Mad*L, featuring sculptwork by Kevin and final painted artwork by AW177.
The final result is an elite warrior wearing a uniform full of Chinese art and representing 3 animals in Chinese culture. The first one so far is named "Dragon Power" (shown-above left). AW177-adds: "Basically I'll be at NYCC this year at the Tenacious Toys booth pretty much the whole Friday - Sunday, and will also be signing/sketching on Saturday, October 9 at 1pm. I'll be bringing down a few custom toys, custom mini business cards, some 'art' postcards, etc. and will also be releasing and selling a custom Mad*L 3-piece series that I did in a collaboration project w/ Kevin Gosselin."
