Seen@STGCC 2010: Saltnpaper with Solid Boy
WHAT: Many weeks ago in December 2010 this Saturday, I ventured out of the hospital for a single day to cruise along the con-aisles of the Singapore Toy Games and Comic Convention in Suntec City. This was what I witnessed from my trusty wheelchair…
WHO: From Johanes Djauhari aka Indonesian design-outfit Saltnpaper comes an upcoming SOLID BOY made of resin! Previously seen as a wooden sculpt (yes, we have snaps from 2010's Munny World Festival Indonesia - to be posted soon! :p) and started off as a paper toy named FAT BOY - the resin sculpt on display can be pre-ordered at hello [at] saltnpaper.com (Price undetermined here, but be sure to mention "TOYSREVIL" for a "Special Price"!)
Also on display were regular-sized custom-painted "Solid Boys", and varied paper-crafts from Saltnpaper. as well as the colorful Lovebirds Plush, samples of which were made available at STGCC. Sharing the booth at Artist Alley was also Cindy Karimun wth cool-"3D" lithograph technology from Indojaya manifest on coasters, posters et al. CLICK THRU for more images of the booth.
My humble thanks for the plush and tee-gifts (yes, there are tees too!)
