BORIS-HOODIES

Making it's debut at 2010's DesignerCon, Nathan Hamill x Hitree Boris The Raccoon Hoodies are now on pre-orders for US$80 each, orderable via http://etsy.me/fyR8Ke ~ available in sizes S-XL, with pre-orders lasting thru to March 27th, whereby the purple American Apparel hoodies by Tina Rodas will go into production.

The above trailer was aired on Feb 25th on Cartoon Network and featurES mundane animation from Studio 4°C [via Super Hero Hype]. And if you're looking for more images of the toy recently seen at New York ToyFair, do feel free to hit up Cool Toy Review for the full run down. I can't believe I am saying this but I'm personally more interested in the action figures by Bandai than the cartoon re-envision … and yes, there is a new Snarf too, and unfortunately I'm not a huge fan of LOL ~ the 8 inch tall "Collectors Edition" looks interesting too!

Peep above 17+ mins video featuring the drawing of a "Spider Jerusalem" by Camilla d'Errico for her contribution to the Transmetropolitan Art Book. (Yes, seems there IS a Transmetropolitan Art Book!!!!).

ABOUT: It has been nearly ten years since the release of the final issue of TRANSMETROPOLITAN, the Eisner-nominated comics series from writer Warren Ellis and artist Darick Robertson. We have approached Mr Ellis and Mr Robertson about putting together a brand new art book of original images, and we're happy to report both of the co-creators will be participating in this project, donating a brand new cover and a foreword for the book!" ~Susan Auġér of CBLDF.

TRANSMETROPOLITAN-COVER

This new art book will be a hardcover volume limited to a few thousand hand-numbered copies. And while there does not seem to have a definitive quantity revealed for the standard hardcover edition (US$49 each), there is a "slipcased hardcover edition" limited to 1000 copies at US&$79 per. Pre-order yours on Kickstarter (The list of participating artists are viewable at this link). As well here's a peek at the cover of the book (courtesy of Hypergeek.ca) featuring the artwork of original Transmet artist: Darick Robertson!

Proceeds of sales of the books will be donated to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund and the Hero Initiative.

As well Camilla's beloved HELMET GIRLS will be getting their own website soon! Here's a preview of the apparel retail space online (and no, I do not think they will literally sell "girl helmets" ;p), and do check out this Facebook album to see who exactly are the "Helmet Girls"!
