The Urban Art Of Indonesian on TOYSREVIL
WHAT: I was in Jakarta last year in late-September, as a Special Invited Guest by Plastic Culture for Munny World Festival Indonesia. I did not manage to finish my coverage. There are loads more to be shared. This is one such post…
Folks, new-found friends and most importantly Artists were each given a blank postcard with a TOYSREVIL Logo smack in the middle of it, and were asked to draw around it. The intention was to then collect them back, for a little bit of promotions and "fun". And while the "fun" aspect is yet to be executed (plans I have but physically unable to execute darning) but perhaps tis time to have a look at the visuals first (although I have to apologize that these are not ALL of the completed artwork) from the various Indonesian-based folks in Jakarta and Bandung!
"Urban" moreso because of "Pop Culture" or even "lowbrow" purely because I reads better as a blog-post title LOL ~ And do note that they are not necessarily presented in any form of order:

[Above artwork by David Cornelius Tan - who was working
under the influence of 1litre of paulaner beer]
[Above artwork by Joseph Burhan]

So do YOU know what you want to draw next time I bump into you? :)
