Kung Pow and Custom Toys by Bowo Baghaskara @ Jakarta 7th Toys & Comics Fair 2011
While we had posted about Bowo Baghaskara's KUNG POW figure-sculpt, a colored proto made it's public debut at the recent weekend's Jakarta 7th Toys & Comics Fair 2011! Standing 5" tall, the resin figure is to come in a limited edition of 88 figures. Drop date and availability details are pending still. Well done, Bowo!
As well seen at his booth/table, were also the debut of custom Celsius and Zugan that had been earlier teased on his blog. Featuring a conceptual-cross between traditional carving and nature's wood grains, am looking forward to see where these styles develop into toys.
As a bonus-post, here's a look at Bowo's custom-OMI dubbed "Death Mickey" utilizing the Munky King custom-DIY form (which will see a dedicated exhibition in Jakarta soon-ish from Plastic Culture!)
