Upcoming New Toys on TOYSREVIL (Jan/24/2011)
From Indonesian artist Bowo Baghaskara comes an exciting resin prototype of his new character creation KUNGPOW! Standing around 5 inches tall, KungPow is borne "from human imagination & dreams that didn't happen, I like adventure, friendly, love the earth"
Ever the consummate customizer, I had a chance to meet Bowo in Jakarta (and even went toy-hunting with lol) and this figure is a long-time coming, IMHO! Looking forward to further developments!
Cookies -N- Cream releases the WIP-sculpt of their very first designer figure - SNEAKERHEAD! Designed by Derin "Mekazoo" Ciler and sculpted by Eric Nocella Diaz of Argonaut Resins - do keep a lookout for the final version, as well as different colorways and select collabos.
"Sneakerhead is an art figure we have been working on bringing to life for quite some time. The piece was conceptualized over a year ago and is inspired by our appreciation for sneakers/sneaker culture."
Erick Scarecrow revealed on his blog an image of a upcoming figure sculpt to be released. Am wholly unsure is this is the total figure, or part of a package/set. Earlier posted imaghes of his NYCC 2010-booth never really showed the figure/s - but then again was it indeed a full coverage of coolness from ESC Toy to come?
Uglydolls Action Figure Series 3 is coming soon! And while the actual availability date is as yet confirmed, the sneaks posted here shows the niftiness of toys to come, IMHO. Along with these are a new series of Wind Up Uglydolls - seen here below in all their coolness, as well insanely-cool in this Facebook video!
We have previously posted about Bangkit Welkid's PANDEER sculpt, from our time at last year's Munny World Festival Indonesia), and now seems a series of new sculpts and colorways will make their way to "DISKOMFEST 4" @ Jogja National Museum. Take a lookout for colored editions of this "panda" and "deer" character amalgam, as well as the basic black and white editions. From these WIP-snaps, has Pandeer actually gotten a tad tubby in 2011? :)
We have previously posted "Kaiju Coop"s bitchbitchbitch-sculpt "Warui Inu (Bad Dog) with the NagNagNag figure (along with exclusive origins mentioned to TOYSREVIL) and now we have the bottom view to gander at, and a notice that the figure is tentatively scheduled for a release this week - but neither drop-venue or exact date is determined.
Medicom Toy is scheduled to release the DX Series 3 of their KUBRICK Star Wars line in June 2011, featuring 100% aka 6cm tall versions of characters from "The New Hope movie. There seems to be also a Land Speeder along with the figures listed below:

UK-creator Cris Rose teases his upcoming self-made ROTUND MK2 with a series of 3D-renders, with the center figure in question posed next to the Rotund Mk1 and his Sprogs. Make way for chunky-resin-robot!
Toy-teasers galore from ThreeA Toys, with the above-shown WASABI TK (Tomorrow King) 1/6-figure from the "Classic TK line" (and apparently a member of "7 Bones"). The image of the "clone" holding a RPG is a Forum Exclusive. And while you hold in your respective enthusiasm, do check out the 1/12th-scaled articulated Action Portable TK shown below-left (different colored tees! Yumz!) and the supa-smexy PRINCES TQ (Tomorrow Queen) in 1/6th and skimpy-wear. Daddy Likie?
Beyond the boutique-styled toy-clones and sexy-ladies, 3A Toys also delves back into a figure mentioned years ago, the WWR GRUNT - available in Deep Powder, L.R.S and Desert 666 editions for a grand price of (tentatively) US$120 per. And apparently there are "Martian Soldiers" too. And from both the blurry snap and silhouetted image, the figure will possess an insane load-out innit? Quite exciting this, as well the swell notion of military kit-outs Hong Kong-style, courtesy of threezero, yeh?
ThreeA Toys seems will soon offer up the pair of 1/6-scaled Daywatch and Nightwatch Commanders orderable on www.bambalandstore.com at US$120 per figure (NOT as a set) prior to 3AA-discount (which so happens to be activated on Monday).

We have previously posted about the face and body sculpts from Y.J.Park, now peep the diorama and accessories set to come from Enterbay's GAME OF DEATH set. What got to me was the hand-held movie camera = one of the pet collecting-peeves of myself in the past, looking as exciting as they d now LOL ~ Anyone parting this out?
