New Junji Ito "Uzumaki" Characters by Unbox Industries seen at Wonder Festival 2022
A sample(s) of Junji Ito's "Uzumaki"-characters were on display at the Sunday-only Wonder Festival in Japan (via @unboxjp), with both "half-torso sculptures of "Kirie and "Thistle" sized approx 18cm tall!
"Kirie Goshima" sports her cursed spiral hair (above), while her classmate "Azami Kurotani" AKA "Thistle" possesses a half-eaten face by the Spiral (below). SPLENDID likeness-to/interpretations of the master's illustrations too! And the larger sizes give justice to the characters toom IMHO ~ GLORIOUS!
Sculpted by Japanese specter artist @/marin.lab (also responsible for Unbox's "KAIKIBAKO" mini figure series), stay tuned for further product and availability details in time (I am unsure of the tag says "May" release, or...), cheers.
