Upcoming Toys on TOYSREVIL (Mar/4/2011)

IDWSDCC

Looks like San Diego Comic Con gets their first toy-volley-reveal for 2011, courtesy of ThreeA Toys and comicbook label IDW. Shown here is the WWRp Day Watch Edition of Heavy Bramble (sans military pouches and decals) which no doubt will be made available at the show (remember 2009's WWRp Bramble release?). Also do look out for a second 3A-release specifically online.

stee-gar-bagged

New snap of Jeffrey Lamm's 6 inch tall Stee-Gar "modular kaiju" figure from Unbox Industries, seen here bagged and header-carded! (Revealed in full here). Note that the figure comes with die-cut stickers to place on the chest TV screen. Would be cool as well if there were multiple stickers for folks to tag and stick tho :p

Interested folks are to email greasebat@gmail.com for enquires and/or to be added to the mailing list.

STEEGAR-STICKERS
scott-tolleson-sneak

A quick snap of an upcoming toy from Scott Tolleson (which we perhaps last saw at New York Comic Con 2010 (which I swore I screengrabbed images of Scott displaying the cheeky character) but alas I have nothing.

spongebob-squarepants-tofu

And while the Spongebob Squarepants Trexi did not exactly "wow" me first spotted at STGCC, the Spongebob Squarepants ToFu vinyl figure is in fact a pretty cute figure, IMO. Currently with an extended pre-order period till March 15th.

Pre-order price is SGD$17.60 (usual SRP of $22) the 4" tall vinyl To-Fu Oyako collab-fig is limited to 3,000 pcs worldwide, with an April 2011 release. Get your orders in at producer Play Imaginative's store in Iluma, Victoria Street.

INSPECTOR-CUMULUS

Andy Woo of Crazy Label posts a snap of their upcoming Inspector Cumulous vinyl figure release (complete with milky-clear headsculpt and a vibrant yellow bubble), while creator Jonathan Edwards teases with his on-browser-screen WIP box-design for said figure. I love it when a toy-plan comes together :)

Zombiemonkie

Mike Graham of Blamo Toys also creates by the moniker "ZombieMonkie" and this here is the Zombie Monkey sculpt in question, and it is rocking! Worked on with the aim of becoming a "3D-logo" for his website, I figure this would make a swell mascot toy figurine to be released as well! I'm all for original character creations, don't you see? :)
