TOYSREVIL's Drawing Cumulus Competition: Details & Prizes (Dateline June 3rd 2011)
Get ready to take out your drawing tools or fire up your computer, and put on your "illustrator-hat" as TOYSREVIL announces a brand new Illustration Competition! Held in collaboration with UK-illustrator Jonathan Edwards (@Jontofski) and Hong Kong boutique toy-producers Crazy Label (@crazylabel) - we proudly bring you TOYSREVIL's DRAWING CUMUMLUS! It's time for the cloudy-head inspector to be the spotlight as the theme and focus of this drawing contest!
COMPETITION:
Submit no more than two illustrations of your interpretation of Jonathan Edward's INSPECTOR CUMULUS! (We are asking you to submit a digital copy of your artwork and NOT to send in the real product). Yes, we want YOU to draw Cumulus!
It could be landscape format, or portrait format - as long as it is done by YOU, it's all good! You want to do Pin-ups? You want to do comicbook panels? You wanna do an epic oil painting? You wanna vectorize Cumulus? You want to do collaborations? Hey, you split the prizes yourself ~ We're game, and we wanna see what you do to Cumulus!
PRIZES:
There will be Three Top Illustrations from three different winners chosen by our panel of judges! And this is what you'll get in the First, Second and Third prizes:
An original drawing, a print and sketchbooks from Jonathan Edwards? Inspector Cumulus 8" tall vinyl figure each from Crazy Label? An epic series of prizes await you indeed! And along with them, each winner will also walk away with an A3-sized poster of Inspector Cumulus from Crazy Label (shown below) - and of course, bragging rights!
JUDGES:
Three person sit in this panel: Jonathan Edwards (Creator of Inspector Cumulus), Andy Woo (Owner of Crazy Label) and Andy Heng (of TOYSREVIL). We expect a decent fight till the finish. Let it begin!

DATELINE for Submissions is June 3rd, 2011 @ 23:59hrs (+8 GMT Singapore-time)
RESULT To Be Announced on June 10th, 2011 on the TOYSREVIL-blog!

03. What is it's story? (no more than 100 words please)
There might be a chance to feature you and your submissions as the contest goes on (but this is NOT written in stone!). And please note that there will be NO changes in submissions, so plan accordingly, and good luck!
