Gatchaman or G-Force embodied the spirit of "different characters in a group fighting for the greater good" which so endear themselves to me. Alone, the characters felt 'incomplete' and insipid (personally speaking), whereas the villains held more interest! Ah, but "together"? The iconology of the 'unwilling hero', the 'rogue', the 'princess', the 'bulky stoic clown' and 'little sprite' combination has been copied and paralleled thru the years in various other concepts.

The Gatchaman shown above was my concept of a 'reboot', sketched in 2007. It started off as a blue-print for a 1/6th-scale kitbash/custom, and slowly moved into conceptual territory. Alas neither conceit nor custom happened, and I am left with 'dreams' unfulfilled. Maybe one day they will be :)
