byebye toybiz and hello hasbro

:: TOYS ::
toy-collectors? start stockin' up on yer ToyBiz-actionfigures now! ~ coz they be a thing of the past; pretty darn soon ...

Marvel Comics drops Toybiz and goes with Hasbro. [via SuperheroHype]

which frankly, impacts me not as much as i do not (not anymore) collect any other figures; other than 1/6th and designer-vinyls" (disclaimer: *but of coz with the "occasional" blister-card-blissout lah* :p) ... altho personally i think tis a bit of a shame really, coz ToyBiz has been coming out with some outstanding collections of late, notably the excellent SELECT-line ... and then again, i ain't exactly a big-fan of Hasbro (or "Hasblow", as a lotta disgrunted toy-collectors might attest - so i am unfairly biased, i admit) - most times with their earlier 12-inch Star Wars action-figure releases, which were effin'-shoddy (IMHO) ~ as compared to ToyBiz's slightly better (if not "great" as well) Marvel Studios-line ... and altho Hasbro "has improved" quite decently (i am just personally elated that Sideshowtoys are doing the 12"-figures now) we can only hope good quality toys will be made, irregardless of who the label on the box (or blister-pack) says makes them ... *heh*
