The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back and
in full CG-animated form! [via
SuperheroHype] and mayhap they are more suitable for animation (altho the image in the
teaser poster looks more like a
lizard/gecko, dunnit? :p), rather than
live-action (which i liked!) ... inclusive of the
sequel (*blah*) and a
third (missed it completely) in the
Turtle-Trilogy :p ... *muahahahaha* - and who would've thought
a group of four mutant heroes-in-a-half-shell (and a Rat-Sifu) in
an independent comic of the 80's would've survived for so long, eh?

i reckon they be one of the earlier success-stories of
comics-adapted-to-screen (and to
tv-cartoons laterz) and eventual
toy-empire which spawned 8 back-to-back commercials in the cinema (yep, tis another tale of yesteryear comin' up!) - which was essentially 4 different commercials, but was shown in both English and Mandarin versions! this was of coz back in the late 80's @ Cathay Cinema and watching
what-show-i-remember-not ... but the trauma of the toy-turtles stuck like a virus in me addled-brain ever since then ...
hhhmmmm, come to think of it, the subliminal powers were indeed strong, to have me fawning over toys
now, innit?
*heh*
