everyday changes
:: ART / STUFF ::
am fascinated with Tom Judd's Everyday project = where he drew a page's worth of illustrations, for every single day of the year, for 365-days = *cool* [via drawn!+boingboing]
which reminded me of something mentioned in the past, whereby a person took a polaroid of him/herself - one for each day, for a whole year (or even more?) and thinking wouldn't it be great if the photos were exhibited somehow and you'd be able to see a progression (or "regression", if that be the case) of a person ... which again reminds me of a saying: "you'd least be able to recognize a change in a person, if you see the person day-to-day, everyday, as opposed to someone whom you've not met in a long while" ... "evolution" fascinates me, as much as the "human condition", moreso "perception" ...
anyways, pseudo-metaphysical-meanderings aside (as if it was :p), im reminded of another project mentioned before, which goes something like (but def not the actual title OF) "4pm To The Left" = whereby the person, at (near) precisely 4pm every afternoon, takes a picture of whatever is to the LEFT of him/her ... *cool* ... wished i had more info or links to these coupla projects tho (*help* - anyone?).
*Disclaimer: please pardon my lack of expressive or descriptive vocabulary, for words have left me hence ... and mayhap that's why i am exploring a more visual approach of expression, in times to come...*
and if by visual-collection of a person's life or/and day, then mayhap a weblog/blog is too a "collection of a person's life", innit? "life via the written word" - and by reading it thru from begining to end, wouldn't one see a change in a person's mood/temperment/life, or not - as well? ... intriguingly so ... *heh*
