< the launch of adFunture's new gallery / toyshop; DA>SPACE in shanghai saw the debut of (what could be) the first designer vinyl figure from china = "I, WZL".

< a "self-portrait" perhaps? (the designer goes by the nic of WZL) nevertheless tis all quite exciting!(and no, am not gonna crack any jokes about "all-toys-made-in-china") *heh* :p
WZL is part of the Mess-Up Design Clan (which consists of 12 designers from different fields)
the launch / event images can be viewed here and we get to see a few glimpses of the vinylfigure and it's scale/size, as well as (graf) artists tagging the shop-walls and pillar :)
and a little snooping around found me WZL's blog, filled with toy images, graphics, stickers and general all-round design-coolness ... and hopefully we'll see more things and toys from WZL, in the near future. :) *cool*
