of sonny angels and q-types
intrigued by this image Plastic+Plush had posted ...

... i surfed the webblindly for it's origins and to no avail, unfortunately (all i need is the original jpg-name, innit? *BAH*) ... but it did afford me a coupla finds:
initially i had thought they looked loads like Sonny Angels-figures, but the search yielded nothing else except a new series named Sonny Angels : Fruits!

and they sure do looked mondo-yummy-cute, dun they? (IMHO, of coz lah) *nyuknyuk*
then the search led me down a set of Astonishing X-Men-themed Q-Type figures:

with 4-characters and limited to 500-sets "exclusively" for the HongKong market, these 3-4-inch tall figures are actually quite good (design-wise) for these sorta super-deformed-cutey-plastic-figs-thingies, dunnit? am liking the Beast especially and Emma Frost's looking a tad like a Pinky-Street figure, dun she? now that's an idea! *hhhmmmmmmm*
and the search continues ... help, anyone? *heh*
