"toy art" is what i'd dare label Santorrostro's intense images in his Disturbing Plastic series (am i being truly presumptuous here? ~ forgive me, sir) and as macabre as it may seem, i reckon tis the deepened "truths" of the underlying messages that appeals to me, that speaks volumes more than a moralistic pretty picture ~ and if this be the case? then these images are gorgeous upon itself, IMHO.
i first met and admired Santorrostro in action figure-forumboards of my previous toy-life and am delighted to be able to witness his work again in his Flickr and i strongly encourage you too to witness his art. ..........................................................................................................................
