bootleg stormtrooper vinyl
just found on local toyshelves (mostly "chinese" comic/toyshops): a set of two figures, a Stormtrooper and Darth Vader. i only managed to "procure" the trooper @ a "decent price", whilst Vader eluded me (*darn*)

standing at near 8-inches tall, this bootleg-trooper is a mixture of hard (helmet and arms) and soft (body and legs)-vinyl, this figure had no label nor markings on it whatsoever. it's of a decent weight and is able to stand on it's own. the neck is articulated, as are the "arms" and "legs". the "hands" are removable, altho i haven't tried taking off the head (yet) :p - and i haveta say, tis decent paintwork for a bootleg like this, IMHO. the figure came in a non-descript white-carton-box (again with no markings or labels). would've been great if it came with a blaster or such, innit? (greedy bugger that i am :p) ...
bottomline for me: it would make a darn decent custom-base-figure, wouldn't it? *hhhmmmmm* .... now to look for Vader! *heh*

fake spideys huh? tres cool! the "collecting", not the "bootlegging", mind :p - altho they somehow have their own "charms", innit? IMHO of coz :)
i think KL have...seen tonnes of the stormtroopers one in a toyshop in TimesSquare... :P
