the preacher on hbo?

:: TEEVEE / COMICS ::
Jesse Custer, Cassidy and Tulip on teevee? [via]

fark me raw if they dun screw this concept up, much less water it or dumb down this modern-day masterpiece, as told by Garth Ennis, Steve Dillon and Glenn Fabry ... heaven farking forbid the language and deviant-sexual inneundoes (and often thinly veiled, if at all) and deliciously warped religious context (and peeps cry foul over The DaVinci Code? farkin'ell they've not read Preacher anytime soon, innit?) ... but then again, i'd be "interesting" to see how they portray "Arseface", innit? *muahaha* = but of coz this is all "production chatter" only, innit? nothing concrete til you see it "live" on the telly, i reckon ...

"The Preacher" refers to the Reverend Jesse Custer and his mission to find the Lord who had vacated his seat and left heaven ... of coz there's more to that and i'd let you "heathens" read more here and here.

personally, as dearly as i love and respect this comic and it's characters, i really dun see them "translating well" unto the google-box, (altho i think The Saint Of Killers would make for "better teevee") ~ not least if it's rated R ... or maybe somethings are better left "read"? *IMHO of coz*
