devilrobots + tokidoki = plus trexi series 1

"PLUS Trexi Series" is a collaboration crossover between designers from both a western and an eastern country, brought together (by Play Imaginative) to design a 3-inch Trexi series. Series 1 features the work of Devilrobots and Tokidoki, with a total of 12 designs (6 designs each designer / 10 pcs shown below), with 1 Mystery/Chase figure each (not shown) from each designer and they will be sold in blind assortment [via]

the question on my toy-mind is: is this truly a "crossover / collaboration" between two designers? or just two series of designs released together in a single set?
