The Wachowski Bros to remake Speed Racer?
heck, even if tis just a rumour, tis gotten me excited and all (not the "hot'n'sweaty" variety, mind) not least the realization of a childhood cartoon dream of seeing a live-action Mach 5 tearing down the tarmac! whoo-hoo! ... and of coz who could resist the mystery that was Racer X? (click here to go search under "characters") - coz i've always liked them dark / brooding /mysteriousvillains heroes, much like Joe/Jason from Gatchaman/Battle Of The Planets! LOL ~ and i'd luvre to see the Wachowski Bros bring some "serious" comicbookmovie-sensibilities into this retro-remake tho :)
