the importance of five cents

:: LIFE IN SINGAPORE ::
a taxi uncle ripped me offa five-cents today. yep, five measely cents ... not a dollar nor ten-cents .. just five ... was it a mistake? or was it intentional? it matters naught, for the "crime" had been perpetrated and a victim was i ... and in case y'all think im crying over just 5-cents, than you dear readers, are missing the point (which is fari, becoz i haven't gotten to the point yet :p)

tis the capacity to intentionally rip-off another person, regardless the amount of money, that gets to me most times. it could be a small incident like this, or even a prior spoken agreement renegaded and what can ya do at the end of the day? swallow it and say "thanks for the experience/lesson?" or "fark you and yours - gimme me back me money, ya twat!"

or ya can just blog about it and let thy grievances scatter into the winds of the cyberhighway ... *whatever* :p
