wrapping up

as in any production, once the camera stops rolling, there is still the inevitable wrap up, more so for the "art department", as we cart away the sets, clean up and keep stock of the various props and equipment, returning loaned props (and making good damaged ones) and generally (trying) to pack neat and handover the items in an orderly and timely fashion ~ which in most cases is a recognized basic requirement, tho sometimes downright demoralizing ~ imagine peeps leaving and having a beer at the wrap while we continue loading and unloading props and such, and as folks leave for the day making merry, we maintain the dirt and grime for at least a coupla days more, holding unto the sanity at the edges of our patience ... but alas this is a given and is something that will nary change as long as productions continue ... not that im complaining (much), mind ... and today is the day i leave the workshop/store location for which i have had a bittersweet (more "bitter", mind) time spent in, for the past month or so.
i really can't say i'll miss the place ("really") and the only memory i'll ever bring with me are these pictures:
a few words to those who are looking for a temporary workshop and/or storage space, for your production:
(1) pls find a location with access to electricity.
(and hence be able to power-up working lights)
(2) pls find a place with water supply.
(3) and pls find a location with access to lavatory/toilet facilities, fer fark's sake!
no, i really can't say i'll miss the place, no.
and really, what can be "worse" than the wrap-up?
= *the dreaded paperwork that are receipts and claims*
