urban vinyls wrap-up @ nytf 2007
in my haste (and primary interest) in covering 1/6th-figures, i'd neglected designer / urban vinyls (*my bad*) ... fortunately, there are folks who did not and here's a quickie-wrap up of designer vinyls seen @ the recently concluded New York Toy Fair (before the madness of New York Comic Con begins! LOL)
*read more after the jump*
ToyTokyo seemed to be the have the largest designer/art vinyls-displays in their showcase (with a predominant KaChing Brands-presence) and reported on ToyToons and thoroughly covered here and on Plastic and Plush. ToyToons also did a feature on UNKL's offerings here, with gallery-images here (cheers for the links, Jennifer!)
seen in the images above is the MAD Fourcube [blogged] ... also read about TV Heads here :)
and from P&P there's sweet images galore, including SKWAK's Maniac figure [blogged] - check out P&P's complete New York Toy Fair coverage here, including Uglydolls, Tonner Dolls, SideShowToys et al :)
overall a pretty exciting showing, which'll ignite the vinyl-collecting scene in the next few months? for as sure as there'll be blog-content (per se), so too will the desire-levels for these toys be a daily struggle, LOL ... well, at least for me anyways *heh*
totally appreciate the coverage from these fine toy-lurving folks! :)
