touma's gaburin kaiju for grownups
probably one of the cheeriest-ly cutest kaiju i've ever seen is Touma's 6"-er GABURIN (for Wonderwall's Kaiju For GrownUps) [info+image via VinylPulse]

didn't really wanna blog about him (or is it a "her") when i first saw the proto-sculpts, primarily becoz there wasn't a "name" yet! LOL

... and now in full finished splendour, with the innocent smile "balanced" by the largeness of it's teeth LOL - the figure is slated for an end-April drop @ "Tokyo Roppongi Fine Arts Museum", with a SRP of 6300YEN / USD$54 and with the Pink-colorway limited to 100 pcs [translated info via]

online-translations are always tricky and half the time tis reading between the lines and figuring out the "logical" words - my apologies if they are inaccurate tho LOL ... then i wondered if "Gaburin" meant anything in particular? ... or maybe it just means "GOBLIN"? *heh*

Oh these are so adorable. I'm a bit gutted because they coincidently look a bit like some plush toys I'm working on. Drat, they look much cooler than my efforts :(
