quite frankly, i'd forgotten the taste of OVALTINE for quite a while now, having had the warm comfort of MILO to keep me company for the past two decades or so (give or take a coupla years) ... and from out of the blue, we'd gotten a tin of Ovaltine just (when the Milo ran out) ... and as the hot beverage swirls down my night-parched throat, i recognize the familiar taste, and with it - a rush of childhood teenage memories flood in ... a strange but surprising sensation indeed ... still not used to the "new" taste tho ... *burp*
When's the last time u tried horlicks?
ReplyDeletenot that long ago tho, compared to ovaltine ... horlicks to me is a "fringe beverage" - order it once in a while at kopi tiams, but don't drink it at home (too heaty) and it reminds me of the army. so that's not a good thing yeh LOL
