of heroes episode 22, a world tour and a villain's destiny

one more week. in seven day's time i'll know how to stop an exploding man. last night's episode-22 had me biting my phantom-nails just, with twists, turns and deaths (2 & a 1/2-deaths in a single ep? wow) and the trailer at the end had me teetering on the edge, both figuratively and literally ... one more week til the finale ... and to think weeks before it had been an "unbearable" wait for HEROES, and now it's down to just seven days ... i have learnt (and am still learning) to be patient ... all good things come to those who don't ask too much ... even if it takes a while to come to you ... *heh*

and finding out about the cast of HEROES coming to Singapore on a world tour in August (via the local newspaper) was icing on the cake - peep here for more info (which i missed first time around!) online :)
"In late August, cast members will continue the "Heroes World Tour" with personal appearances in various countries. Members of the "Heroes" cast who will participate in the tour include: Santiago Cabrera (Isaac), Jack Coleman (Horn-Rimmed Glasses), Noah Gray-Cabey (Micah), Greg Grunberg (Matt), Ali Larter (Niki), James Kyson Lee (Ando), Masi Oka (Hiro), Hayden Panettiere (Claire), Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder), Zachary Quinto (Sylar), Adrian Pasdar (Nathan), and Milo Ventimiglia (Peter) ... These cast members will travel to a variety of international destinations, including the following cities: Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Munich, Paris, London and New York City, as well as further stops yet to be announced."

...at the end of the day, maybe i relate to "villains" (*snicker*) moreso than traditional "heroes", becoz of the way they wield their "powers" - and the embracing of it, sometimes to the point of near-complete abandonment of conscience and oblivious to the sheer damage they are able to inflict and may already have, much less be affected by the consequence of the use of said powers ... the temptation to "let loose" and open the gates of personal hell, of powers unleashed ... fantasy role-play and pure wish-fulfilment to some degree, im sure ... a manifestation of a desire to do right, even if you have to do a little wrong ... (gawd, that sounds like an insane excuse for an insane perp, dunnit? LOL)

hell, im not condoning criminal activities nor intentions, much less killing (i never did mention "killing", yeh?) and far be it im glamorizing villainy, but heck, tis comicbook characters im talking about, with extra-ordinary powers, (ie: fiction) and hell, i want my destruction and devastation! LOL

i don't wanna see Jean Grey fling crockery at Magneto (even tho she did disintegrate Xavier laterz), i wanna see Wolverine in a berzerker-rage shoving his adamantium claws into the chest of a soldier! i wanna see a cosmic-powered-up Dr. Doom lay waste to the Great Wall (IN FF2)! ... and i wanna see Sylar flipping an armored transport over ... just the simple use of powers .... some may say: "with great powers come great responsibility?" - sure, that works (hell, it worked out fine for Sandman in Spidey3, innit?) ... but with great powers come too a desire to let loose ... *muahahahahahaha*
