joe ledbetter's finders keepers
not content with just posting about (and oogling over) Joe Ledbetter's new blind-boxed 3"-4"-er mini-figures coming from Kidrobot, i had to go digup try and figure out which are the other 8-designs, out of the announced 16-designs, besides the 8 shown on the current teaser image:
so far i've only gotten maybe 2 "near-concrete" visual references (all via): a (Flying) Pig and a Shark ... altho im 'sure' there's an Ape or Gorilla there somewhere or possibly just another furry critter? and most definitely possibly a Snake, maybe?>... but you know what? i do not have a concrete-clue LOL ... and from the two different color-schemes of a singular design/creature shown on the teaser, maybe it is just 8 creature-designs, but with 2 colorways per?
and in the end, i couldn't handle the tedious research (a Discovery Channel wildlife segment, this was not) ... i should've just posted the image just like everyone else on the www and be done with it ... but then again, that's not my way, innit? *heh* ... in local parlance, this would be known as Gey2 Khiang3 ("Act Smart")
frankly, seeing varied singular JoeLed designs on platform-figures in (infinite) multiple colorways was getting a tad tiresome (but im sure JLed-fans feel differently :p) if not a tedious bore ... but "new forms" are always very welcomed and this upcoming FINDERS KEEPERS series from Kidrobot looks to be fanboyz more highly anticipated mini-figs series to come for 2007 :)
