mutafuckaz qee launch @ japan-expo, france

Toy2R X RUN's Mutafuckaz Qee series [blogged] was launched earlier this month at the Japan-Expo in France and here are some images, courtesy of Oliver from Designertoyz:

okay, this is what i know so far: the first wave consists of 4 primary figures (pictured), while the rest of the series comes later (please do correct me if im wrong here, not a lot of info floating around the web on these figs :p) ... the "trick" is, there are no lesser than 23-figures to collect, with each figure having between two to three colorways (including a GOLD-version for some)!


the Mutafuckaz Qees are characters based on an online comic created by RUN and published by Ankama [read more here] ... i personally like the Policeman/EggQee most (great use of the Qee-form) ...
... it reminds me quite a bit of the Alien Guardians of the Tomb (if not the turtle-armored Policemen) in The Fifth Element! (now, wouldn't that make a great Qee set? :p)
