freqee art show @ powerhouse, brisbane (28 aug 2007)
FreQee is an exhibition featuring the work of 50 contemporary counter-culture artists (from Australia), including Graffiti Artists, Tattooists, Graphic Designers, Comix Artists and more ... each artist will start with the same object, a blank 9" DIY Bunee Qee from Toy2R, and then create an artwork in their own individual style.FreQee is sponsored by The Gallery Store, All-Star Tattoo and Cylinder and features the work of 1337, byrd, Andy Tatt, Ben Constantine, Ben Reeve, Billie Weston, Brent Wilson, Brett Weekes, Brett Williams, Briellen Baker, Camilla Zavataro, Celeste Ramos, Charles Mayfield, Clint Steele, Corey Warren, Dan Gibbs, Fleur Beserk, Giles Kilham, gimiks, Glenn Manders, Jamie Brown, GUZ, Jase Harper, John Stewart, KASINO, Kid9, Team Kitten, Lounge Kat, Layla Knight, Link, L.F. The FreQee exhibition will be held at Brisbane Powerhouse from the 28th of August to the 9th of September 2007, with the official opening party on Friday August the 31st from 7pm until midnight.
