realxhead lucky fortune cats

what is by-now a quasi-iconic fixture in most Chinese and (obvious) Japanese places of commercial business (ie: shops, restaurants etc) as well as typical residential homes, is a porcelain or plastic good luck and (most importantly) good fortune-bringing "Fortune Cat" (Zhao1 Chai2 Mao1) or "Maneki Neko"... so it was with utter relish when i saw RealXHead's cycloptic Lucky Fortune Cats on Kirkland's ToyBotStudios!

the above shown Fortune Cat-colorway is to be released via Hobby Complex in Kobe on September 9th ... while the bottom buncha Fortune Cats are (estimated) 2"-er tall mini-Cats, and are to be released this weekend via Hyper Hobby X WCC [info via]


and as the traditional Fortune Cat is rampantly made everywhere, a teenie-part of me somehow wishes someone'll "bootleg" these figures ... but of coz i know i shouldn't be thinking this! (*schlap*) ... but imagine how insane bootlegged-colors would end-up looking tho? *kool-kitties*
