of lego bumblebees and blackout and my life with building blocks

i cannot fully claim that i've been deprived of my LEGOs since young ... altho if my muddled-memory serves me right, i've never actually HAD any LEGO-blocks to begin with - what i had INSTEAD were "bootleg"-blocks! (we weren't that fabulously well-off then, mind) and i do remember them to be slightly bigger than Legos (so we couldn't mix-n-match LOL) but i reckon they worked just as good, and i've had my share of building-block-fun ... altho come to think of it, any lego-creation not out of a box - can they be considered "customs" - can't they? *heh*

meanwhile here are a "customed" Lego-Bumblebee and a Blackout (not THIS one tho) captured on video (altho please do feel free to fast forward the initial irritating camera-fly-thrus, yeh? heh :p):

meanwhile, "tigertracks 24" has a insightful post about the missing link between building-blocks and transformers-toys; on Seibertron.com = *neato*
