about david horvath's mothman vs flatwoods playset series one

David Horvath's (and Sun Min-Kim) self-produced Mothman Vs Flatwoods Playset Series One is tagged as a "Supermarket Toy Set" - which comes in a clear-plastic baggie with header-card, and as the name suggests, is a play on the "cheaper priced" supermarket toys (mostly 'Made In China') hung near checkouts (i assume) and is priced @ US$12.99 (for ages 13 and up) with a March 1st, 2008-drop date ... David says on his blog: "You know those toys you see at the super market? The cheapo farm animal set (why is the pig always larger than the cow?) the jungle set, the dinosaur sets...usually header card and baggie...well there's NEVER any UFO related sets!!! Why?! Well, we're gunna change that!" = *cool*

(heck, i admit, i have a serious mild-fetish for these packaged toys, most times found in heartland bookshops actually - always on a lookout for parts that i could use for kitbashes and customs :p) ... meanwhile, if ya can't wait for March, seems ONE set will be at the Uglycon SF tho! *heh*
