play imaginative upsizes touma's skuttle

there'll come a time (sometime soon), where you'd haveta build special shelves to display Play Imaginative-figures, as they're UPSIZING their collection to larger-than-toy-life sizes - witness the Touma-designed 18"-er SKUTTLE! ... nothing is concrete-confirmed yet, but some stats have been thrown out by Jacky of PI:
(1) it is a collaboration between Touma X PI X One Up.
(2) planned to be released at SDCC (2008).
(3) The price would not be more than USD$350
(but final price unconfirmed pending completion of production mould and test shot)
(4) the head will be able to go in and out. the arms will be articulated.

also do bear-in-mind that the figure would be in vinyl (and not Japanese-kaiju-vinyl) and at this large a scale, apparently is a real pain to work with :p
like a lilliputian-collector, i've tip-toed around their already released figures like Knuckle Bear which you could cradle like a baby, as is the giant TO-FU and the helmet for the Evirob could easily fit a small child's head ... altho think of it this way, with the enlarged figures, you may end up feeling like a wee kid again, grasping your toy (which always seemed so much bigger when you were a young'un / proportionate expenditure notwithstanding, of coz :p) *HAH*
