whenever anyone mentions "dolls", generally folks (non-collectors) and Joe-Blow would think of "Barbie-dolls" and mayhap even dismiss it outright, "dollies are for little girlies" - some may even insist ... and while generally no one would bat an eyelid at female-collectors, grownassmen (like me) may never be able to share (openly) the joy of cruising down the "Pink-Aisle" (so termed becoz of Barbie's penchant for the color :p) - searching for kitbash fodder (thank the toygawds for online forums like Men With Dolls LOL) - all of which i reckon could've been a "wasted opportunity", to be able to see and experience the world of Doll Collecting, and of the complexity and intricacies in customs (IMHO) ... but of coz everyone's entitled to their own opinions, preference and taste, yeh? *itz all goode*
Ray / "MGBB" (from OSW) was at a Tokyo Autumn Doll Show (official website) a coupla weeks back and had come away with a selection of interesting and eye-opening snaps, of a variety of dolls of varied sizes and brands/make, including customs from OSCF (Japanese custom forum) members = peep entire album starting HERE, with 1/6th-figures catergorized on the 3rd-page ... meanwhile, here is a smattering of images (which i like) pilfered indiscriminately via (*heh*)
