i've always thought that with "technology" in their hands, all the bootleggers "need" is a good idea/concept, for them to create their own line of "original" figures, rather than just knocking-off knock-offs (of coz the monetary returns are better and faster) ... what i wouldn't give to have a contact with a bootlegger to manufacture my designs cheap and quick LOL (that may sound wrong, i know, but ...:p)
Alternator-Prowl: "your bootleg days will be over soon, pretender!"
K.O.Prowl: "dude, you're just another piece'a plastic like me! LOL"

as for bended-knees (daymn there might even be a song about this lol) - i read the thread thus far and it doesnt say much tho, sorry ... ;p
but then again, it all depends on the bootleggers ... i'm personally planning a coupla posts of KO-Nike Transformers i procured and dude, they suck LOL ... but more on that when im done ... heh.
